OVERVIEW
Meet Kajil Maharaj, a vibrant soul who left an indelible mark on those who knew her. Born on April 1st , 1987, Kajil surcummed to Lupus at a tender age of 15yrs. Her dream of attending her Debutante Ball was snatched from her. This inspired her Mum to honour her memory and keep her spirit alive by helping young women in need with the BELLA OF THE BALL initiative.
MISSION STATEMENT
BELLA OF THE BALL will provide essential support to these talented but less fortunate ladies to attend life`s milestone events, i.e. Debutante Ball, Graduations or even their wedding, with pride, dignity and confidence.
We will provide the perfect outfit, hairdo and makeup, also ensuring that they travel in style to their event.
We will make sure that every deserving young woman enjoy their special moments in life and ensure that Kajil's inspiring spirit continues to lift up future generations.
We are here to make sure that no capable young woman has to give up on her dreams.
Sponsor a hairdo or makeup.
Volunteer to assist with travel, if you possess a beautiful vehicle.
Donate funds to BELLA OF THE BALL, which is a registered non-profit organization.
